Welcome to my

Web Portfolio

A collection of my work and skills over the course of my career as a designer. Covering all kinds of mediums from print to fine arts to constructions and cosplay, my portfolio consists of my more notable work. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy!

What makes me different

My portfolio includes a plethora of mediums, ranging from digital arts and the Adobe suite to sewing patterns and thermoplastic sculpture and much much more. I’m always picking up new skills in the art and design field, because why not? Covering every base of my own projects has helped me find new opportunities and hobbies that I love. Doing concept art for my own purposes lead to me doing paid concept comissions, and costume design has lead to doing costume comissions. Digital art has even lead into video game assets as well as environment design for games, creating memorable and enjoyable styles for coded projects. There is always a use for design, and being able to bring ideas to life for myself or for a client has been beyond fulfilling.
What I do
A few of my proficiencies include…

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe inDesign

Adobe Experience Design

Procreate

Autodesk Maya

Cosplay Work

Costume design requires drafts and compromises, with many steps taken before the final product can be worn. Every design begins with an idea and a drawing. Though not every design requires a sewing machine (see images below, left), selecting what premade pieces and clothes go into a composition are part of the design.

Inspiration

All art and design comes from inspiration or motivation of some kind. Design often answers a question, such as ‘How can I appeal to an audience?’ or ‘How can I do this better?’ Inspiration to create art might produce amazing work, but being inspired or motivated to design might greatly improve quality of life.

My inspiration comes from my own experiences. Design is a tool I use to reach audiences and achieve career goals, and using what inspires me emotionally to build a career and to complete projects makes for some of my best work. Whether is sitting behind a sewing machine or at my desk with the Adobe Suite, I can be assured that my best work is being done when it comes from the heart.

A lot of my work is has fantasy elements, which comes from my experiences while playing Dungeons and Dragons. The art of story telling and complex teamwork is something that motivates me to make art and construct designs more than anything I’ve experienced to date, including a wide spectrum of character concepts, costume patterns, logos, maps, package designs, creative writing excerpts, and more.

Let me know what work you’re interested in, and we can get right down to business…

Art with a purpose

Fine arts is all well and good, but what is it without purpose? Ideas put on paper can make great pieces of art, but what if they helped people? Maps, app interfaces, booklets, brochures, advertisements, game environments, and menus, all examples of how the art of design when done with skill creates a better experience and quality of life for people everywhere in countless platforms and aspects of their daily lives.
